Concepts, installation and development of b2b using BizTalk Server
Enabling one of the biggest German companies to directly order at an international office furniture company. In the past, ordering has been done by fax for all subsidiaries, resulting in manually entering the data into the target system, often many times a day. Now this process is automated and SAP can directly send the orders to an AS/400 based ERP system.
User support, license/software management and development
Supplying user support, software installations and license management (FLEXnet/flexlm) in a UNIX CAE environment for AIRBUS Germany. Including utility development in Perl and Shell Scripting. Development of scripts for LSF usage of an analysis software in a big HPC cluster. Installation, configuration and migration of Hyperwave IS/6 ECM with 400,000 documents. Program portations.
Network application discovery credit card acquirer
For an international credit card acquirer, a network application discovery was being done on their main site using NetFlow. The goal was to shortly get an overview over the running applications in the network (top talkers, bandwidths, protocols), to later design a new, consolidated platform.
Introduction and evaluation of BizTalk Server at a credit card acquirer
Installation of an evaluation environment and introduction to features of BizTalk Server 2006 R2 at a credit card acquirer.
Quality Assurance at a credit card acquirer
Concept and development of a quality assurance program to reduce the amount of manual tests required in the payment transactions area. Time spent doing acceptance tests nearly halfed using automatic comparison of gigabytes of payment data.
Outsourcing credit card acquirer
Over the course of two and a half years managed the technical part of the outsourcing for a credit card acquirer with more than one million transactions a day. This included implementation and development, as well as second level support for the new high availability and mission critical environment with an Oracle RAC and POSEIDON as transaction platform.
Implementing and maintaining a Mail-, Group- und Webserver infrastructure
Concepts, installation, maintenance and migrations of company wide infrastructure in data centres and company branches. Environment includes Open-Xchange, Postfix and Dovecot IMAP servers, LDAP on two locations and spam/virus filtering. Consolidation of servers using Xen virtualisation.
Customer database of an international hotel group
For several years I have done the project management, customer support and development of a web-based customer database for more than 70 hotels in Germany. Product was developed using PHP and at first mySQL, which was later migrated to PostgreSQL.
